About Property Compare

Hi! My name is Matt. I started Property Compare after my wife and I moved house. We loved our previous home, but with a toddler in the family, finding a location with schools we felt good about mattered to us.

I found it difficult comparing various properties we liked and couldn't find a way to easily see and compare them all in the same place. The process of house hunting involves juggling multiple browser tabs, spreadsheets, and notes while trying to remember key details about each property. Not to mention the amount of time it took to find details about each property, nearby schools, how far it was from work, etc. Nightmare!

I'm a software engineer by trade, and I thought there must be a better way. So I built Property Compare to solve this problem not just for myself, but for everyone who's going through the same journey. Buying a house is a stressful and expensive process, but it doesn't have to be so difficult.
